It came down to a point where I had to ask myself — do I see myself doing the same thing until the rest of my life or do I believe there is something more?
Mind you, I was doing what I loved, I had friends and family, a beautiful apartment in the city center and I was happy. The thing is, settling isn’t really my thing. I am a free spirit and want to live my life to the fullest. I was ready to take a leap of faith and dive into the unknown.
At that point I still…
A few years ago I had a problem with my knee and I couldn’t walk cause it hurt so much. This was my wake-up call to get my body in shape.
I started pacing myself in my workouts and slowly building my strength and flexibility. After just a few months I had been working out 4–5 times a week, doing Yoga, Spin class, Aikido, Suspension TRX Training, Ballet and EMS Training (electric muscle stimulation). I get bored easily and need diversity when it comes to training. This is why I chose different kinds of activities. …

Before I dive in and share my experience I will mention that I am a Highly Sensitive Person. What that means is I have to be very mindful of what I surround myself with, as I feel pretty much everything. I’ve been working on myself for years now and trying to figure out the origin of my limiting beliefs. Through this process, I learned that most of our beliefs come from our family, teachers, and society. I started observing what people in my family said and noticed a lot of limiting beliefs they kept affirming.
I think it is safe to say that what is happening with social media these days has gone out of hand — people posting about their perfect lives, canceling each other when we disagree, or sharing their most vulnerable moments.

It was 2012 and the end of the world was nearing. I had decided to make some changes in my life, so I broke up with my toxic boyfriend, kicked out my lazy-ass roommate, quit smoking, and started meditating.
I had awakened spiritually in my teens, but instead of pursuing that path, I chose to party instead. Even though I knew it wasn’t good for me I wanted to live life to the fullest. So I did. For years.
Let me get this straight — I am actually an introverted digital nomad who loves staying at home. Still, not having a choice has left me very anxious and overwhelmed. I had to find ways to keep my sanity, in addition to my spiritual practices. Here is what I came up with.

Honestly, I feel like I’ve had several lifetimes within this life! As an avid learner with a curious mind, I strive to learn every day. I learn through life experiences, heartbreaks, human relations, breakdowns, exploring other cultures on my travels, spiritual awakenings, and from my wonderful teachers that appeared when I was ready.
Recently I went through a “middle-age crisis” and I figured since I have lived a full life I might as well share the wisdom I accumulated over the years. …
