It was 2012. I had just broken off my two-year relationship and experienced yet another spiritual awakening. I needed a change and it had to be a big one. I had spent 7 years in my home town and it felt like it was enough.

It came down to a point where I had to ask myself — do I see myself doing the same thing until the rest of my life or do I believe there is something more?

Mind you, I was doing what I loved, I had friends and family, a beautiful apartment in the city center and I was happy. The thing is, settling isn’t really my thing. I am a free spirit and want to live my life to the fullest. I was ready to take a leap of faith and dive into the unknown.

At that point I still…

Working out alone doesn’t do the trick!

A few years ago I had a problem with my knee and I couldn’t walk cause it hurt so much. This was my wake-up call to get my body in shape.

I started pacing myself in my workouts and slowly building my strength and flexibility. After just a few months I had been working out 4–5 times a week, doing Yoga, Spin class, Aikido, Suspension TRX Training, Ballet and EMS Training (electric muscle stimulation). I get bored easily and need diversity when it comes to training. This is why I chose different kinds of activities. …

Ever since I first spiritually awakened at the age of 17 I realized life was a game and it has its rules. I’ve figured a lot of these rules out and have been playing this game of life for years. Once you see it for what it is, life truly gets easier and lighter. …

Let’s talk about the influence of the media and how it affects us.

Before I dive in and share my experience I will mention that I am a Highly Sensitive Person. What that means is I have to be very mindful of what I surround myself with, as I feel pretty much everything. I get drained in social interactions, loud sounds and disturbing images affect me, and I need to maintain my energy hygiene to stay balanced.

If you’re a Highly Sensitive Person or an Empath check out the article below!

Regardless, I think a lot of people have been affected by the occurrences in the past few years. The media keeps bombing…

How to deal with difficult family members and turn things around.

“You become what you believe, not what you think or what you want” — Oprah Winfrey

I’ve been working on myself for years now and trying to figure out the origin of my limiting beliefs. Through this process, I learned that most of our beliefs come from our family, teachers, and society. I started observing what people in my family said and noticed a lot of limiting beliefs they kept affirming.

Recently I noticed one of my aunts held a lot of judgment towards me and I wanted to know why. I inspire people for a living and help them…

Some things are meant to be private

I think it is safe to say that what is happening with social media these days has gone out of hand — people posting about their perfect lives, canceling each other when we disagree, or sharing their most vulnerable moments.

Ever since I got into coaching, I kept hearing — be authentic, share your story, be real. We have been oversaturated with seemingly perfect glimpses of people’s lives, which set the bar high of how we should be living.

Let’s face it — life sucks sometimes, but we don’t share those moments.

To honor that we have created the opposite…

Who would’ve thought that a sitting still would change my life forever!

It was 2012 and the end of the world was nearing. I had decided to make some changes in my life, so I broke up with my toxic boyfriend, kicked out my lazy-ass roommate, quit smoking, and started meditating.

I had awakened spiritually in my teens, but instead of pursuing that path, I chose to party instead. Even though I knew it wasn’t good for me I wanted to live life to the fullest. So I did. For years.

The thing is, once you awaken it’s hard to ignore what you discovered. Inevitably you come back to the spiritual path…

Let’s face it — this pandemic sucks and has affected us all in some way. I hope these tips bring you some relief.

Let me get this straight — I am actually an introverted digital nomad who loves staying at home. Still, not having a choice has left me very anxious and overwhelmed. I had to find ways to keep my sanity, in addition to my spiritual practices. Here is what I came up with.

1. Learn ukulele (or anything new, really).

During the first lockdown, I ordered a ukulele. Yes, I know it wasn’t “essential,” but honestly, it was for my mental health. I’ve always wanted to learn the ukulele, and I figured it would come in handy as it’s a small instrument you can take anywhere.

I also…

I just turned 41 and here is what I learned that made my life easier and more enjoyable! I hope this inspires you to live your best life too.

Honestly, I feel like I’ve had several lifetimes within this life! As an avid learner with a curious mind, I strive to learn every day. I learn through life experiences, heartbreaks, human relations, breakdowns, exploring other cultures on my travels, spiritual awakenings, and from my wonderful teachers that appeared when I was ready.

Recently I went through a “middle-age crisis” and I figured since I have lived a full life I might as well share the wisdom I accumulated over the years. …
