It was 2012. I had just broken off my two-year relationship and experienced yet another spiritual awakening. I needed a change and it had to be a big one. I had spent 7 years in my home town and it felt like it was enough.

It came down to a point where I had to ask myself — do I see myself doing the same thing until the rest of my life or do I believe there is something more?

Mind you, I was doing what I loved, I had friends and family, a beautiful apartment in the city center and I was happy. The thing is, settling isn’t really my thing. I am a free spirit and want to live my life to the fullest. I was ready to take a leap of faith and dive into the unknown.

I think it is safe to say that what is happening with social media these days has gone out of hand — people posting about their perfect lives, canceling each other when we disagree, or sharing their most vulnerable moments.

Ever since I got into coaching, I kept hearing — be authentic, share your story, be real. We have been oversaturated with seemingly perfect glimpses of people’s lives, which set the bar high of how we should be living.

Who would’ve thought that a sitting still would change my life forever!

It was 2012 and the end of the world was nearing. I had decided to make some changes in my life, so I broke up with my toxic boyfriend, kicked out my lazy-ass roommate, quit smoking, and started meditating.
