7 Ways to Override The Perfectionist Mind and Get Sh*t Done

My name is Maja. I am a Virgo and a Perfectionist.
I tend to analyze and overthink everything I do and thrive to make it perfect. It often results in getting started and not finishing my projects. If I don’t make up a reason why I didn’t do it, some external force appears to prevent me from following through. A while ago I realized that won’t get me anywhere, so I started working on it, and here are some hacks that have helped me push through and get things done.
1. MEDITATION
Over 20 years ago I was introduced to meditation, which literally changed my life. I was the kind of person that couldn’t sleep at night due to overthinking! I am a multi-passionate creative and I tend to have lots of ideas, which I like to pursue…at the same time. You guessed it right — I start it all at once, as I like to act upon my ideas and put them to action, but then I would get overwhelmed and never finish them (or it would take forever). Meditation helped me calm my mind, increase focus and gain clarity. I see a wider perspective and steps I need to take, and I don’t freak out just thinking about it. At first, it was tricky to sit still and stop…
